THE CORRECT ORDER TO USE THE SNAIL MUCIN

After seeing so many videos about how to apply the snail mucin I bring to you the order and why to apply it on this order!!!! (There is an extra step if you are a toner girly!!!)

Step 1: you start with whatever cleanser you usually use! I personally have been breaking out, like huge breakouts which I am not the biggest fan of, and they have been really painful. So, I stick to an acne prone cleanser. The one from image skincare is gentle enough to not dry my skin, because even though I have oily skin, it does get sensitive here and there.

*** if you use toner this is where you apply toner!

Step 2: apply your serums! Since I am all about preventing fine lines, wrinkles, helping my texturized skin, and overall hydration I have been sticking to niacinamide and hyaluronic acid (I used to use the ones from the ordinary but have been wanting to try good molecules!)

Step 3: snail mucin timeeeee!! So, I learned that because this is a thicker and sticky consistency you should be applying this after your serums. Since it has that consistency, it will not allow your skin to fully take advantage of those serums because you should be applying your skincare from thinnest consistency to thicker!

Step 4: moisturizer, this step I wasn’t too shocked about since moisturizer is usually the last step! But this will help you in a way sandwich the snail mucin and help your skin a lot more and take in those benefits from the snail mucin. I have been using this one from Dermalogica that also helps repair your skin barrier, and as someone who can go on hour long walks, this is very helpful for my skin.
