at home selfie setup!

if you didn’t know, I am a professional photographer, and I usually take self portrait with my camera but when I am on my way somewhere or just one quick photo because I feel pretty oh I use this set up!

I love using natural light, because I personally think it evens out your skin tone and makes you look smooth yet radiant at the same time.

If you don’t own a tripod or don’t have the time to set up a tripod just use your window sill.

Ideally, the window sill would be in an area in the house, where it lets a lot of natural light in.

If your windowsill in your room does not have a lot of natural light, don’t worry almost every window in a house has a window sill! Walk around until you find the perfect one and prop up your phone onto the sill itself.

if you don’t want the photos to look like selfies, just go to the timer on your phone and select three or 10 seconds, depending on how much time you need to get in position.

I usually do a mix between front camera and back camera selfies but if the lighting is good enough, you will not be able to see the difference in quality that much!

I also use this technique for when I am filming my TikTok videos, and would definitely recommend you trying it out!
