My Reading Routine 📚✨

Reading is one of my favorite things to do before bed! I love getting cozied up and reading a few pages in my reading nook. Here is my reading routine for the perfect night!

STEP ONE: Get Cozy! 💗

This is an essential part of reading! I make sure to get cozy in my favorite pjs of comfy clothes. If I’m reading I want to make sure Im comfortable! 🥰

STEP TWO: Light a Candle 🕯

There is nothing better than reading by candlelight! I love to light a candle as I set up my reading nook. With fall right around the corner I have begun burning some of my favorite fall scents (Pumpkin Marshmallow from Bath and Body Works is my all time favorite!)

STEP THREE: Fill Water Bottle or Make Tea ☕️

I am a beverage girly at heart and need a drink with my at all times! Before I sit down to read I always try to fill my water bottle up or make myself a cup of tea! This further helps me to set the mood

STEP FOUR: Set Up Reading Nook 📕

Now that we have prepped a few things it’s time to set up our reading nook/area. I will bring my candle over, pick up my beverage, get out a blanket, and grab my book! At this time I will also make sure I have proper lighting. I love my candle but I usually also need a book light of some sort! Everything I need will be ready for me.

STEP FIVE: Read! 😊

The best part! Getting to read your book! No matter the genre, I hope you have a cozy time reading!
