some nights you need to take things extra slow, and spend time relaxing.
I try to have these nights once a week! life can get super busy, but it’s important to do things to help take care of you!
here’s my ideal relaxing night🫶🏼
01. make a nourishing dinner
the best part after a long day, is enjoying a nice home cooked meal. tonight I cooked salmon and asparagus!
ingredients:
- wild caught salmon
- mayo, honey, and sriracha
- parsley
- asparagus
- Parmesan
- salt + pepper
- olive oil
method:
cook your asparagus at 400 for 20 minutes. while the salmon is cooking, add your mayo, honey, sriracha into a bowl.
top the salmon with the sauce and parsley flakes.
cook your asparagus on the same pan as the salmon.
02. go on a walk
I love to go on a walk right after dinner. this helps your digestion, and also let’s me spend quality time with my husband and puppy!
03. change into comfy clothes
my uniform after showering is a comfy sweater and sweatpants!
04. skincare
tonight I used the drunk elephant moisturizer ($60) and the Summer Fridays face oil ($50) two of my favorites.
05. tea time
I always end my night with some tea! tonight I drank ginger tea and then went to bed!
