DIY Air Dry Clay Ghosts

This is the cutest Halloween DIY that I’ve ever done. I’ve been trying to get creative with different air dry clay projects this year, and I really wanted to try making some fun little ghosts.

I rolled out a small chunk of clay, then draped it over a styrofoam ball. I used a pencil to shape the clay into little pleats, and smoothed out any cracks with water. I poked two holes for the eyes, then let it dry for about 24 hours.

I removed the foam ball, then painted them with white acrylic paint. The last step is to place the ghosts over battery operated candles and let the light shine through. Make sure to never use a real candle.

These ghosts are absolutely adorable and can be used as Halloween decor year after year. This is definitely a beginner friendly project so if you’re new to air dry clay it’s perfect for you. I really hope you try this one out!
