How I manage BIG CROWDS working alone!

As a small business owner, mending a booth alone can be stressful at times, especially when many customers are placing orders all at once (great problem to have 🙊)

At this particular booth at Public Garden, I experienced back to back customers which meant I had to stand for 6 hours straight (another great problem to have 🙊) To be specific, I had 120 transactions in a span of 6 hours.

Here are 3 areas I normally focus on:

1) Being Neat ✨

I let my customers use mini trays to keep my booth neat (customers tend to place items on the edge of tables if not handed trays, which can lead to accidents such as items dropping)

2) Keeping Track of Orders 📝

I use a Google Sheet to keep track of cash and PayNow transactions. However, when there are big crowds, I prioritise on keeping track of the cash transactions as I can always refer to the transactions history for PayNow.

3) Pre-pack Packaging 📦

In order to save time, I prepare 5 sets of my empty packaging and pre-pack more whenever there are no customers to attend to (this can be when customers are picking out items after you’ve answered their questions / spoke to them)
