Hello, Lemon8 cupcakes! Since Krabi is one of the most popular travel destinations these days, let’s see available halal & Muslim-friendly food you can get while in Krabi. We spent ~RM220/pax for food here in 4D3N, which I think is worth it because we ate a lot 😩
🍴Koh Klang Seafood Restaurant (DINNER)
📍 Take a Grab from hotel to Krabi town (Chao Fah Park Pier), then take a longtail boat to Koh Klang.
❣️ A unique dining experience, because it’s a floating restaurant (inaccessible by road). It is surrounded by mangrove forest, & they serve the freshest seafood. The owner was very friendly, & he showed us the fish farm & the area (like those in Langkawi) before we had our meal. The food here is a little bit on the pricey side, but trust me, the meal is worth it.
💰 583THB (RM75)/pax
🍴 Krabi Walking Street (STREET FOOD)
📍 Krabi Town
❣️ Only open on Friday-Sunday, it is an open-air shopping street with over 50 stalls. Do note that not all stalls here are halal. However there is plenty of Muslim-friendly Thai snacks like khanom buang, mango sticky rice & coconut ice cream.
💰 50THB (RM7)/pax
🍴 SAAD Kitchen (BREAKFAST)
📍 Along Aonang Muslim street
❣️ They serve healthy breakfast here, which is perfect before you start your island hopping tour. I had omelette with chicken fillings, oats & iced coffee here.
💰 100THB (RM13)/pax
🍴Sareefah Restaurant (DINNER)
📍 Along Aonang Muslim street
❣️ This is a family-run restaurant that's popular among Muslim travellers. There were meal set there, ours was a set of seafood tomyam, omelette, mixed vegetables, rice, & drinks.
💰 130THB (RM17)/pax.
🍴Aonang Muslim Street (STREET FOOD)
❣️ A place where you can get your halal Thai snacks. Ice cream rolls, Krabi pancakes, fresh fruit juices, everything. We went here for 3 nights straight 😂
🍴May & Zin Restaurant (DINNER)
📍 Along Aonang Muslim street
❣️ Their highly recommended dish here is the green curry, which we tried & was good!
💰 THB210 (RM28)/pax
🍴The Coffee Club (COFFEE)
📍 Aonang Beach
❣️ We went here after strolling along Aonang beach for coffee & smoothie bowl, which are Muslim-friendly.
💰 RM39/pax
🍴Tum Zab Nua (BRUNCH)
📍 Along Aonang Muslim street
❣️ This restaurant is formerly known as A-Hud Halal Dimsum. A place if you’re craving for dim sum. This was our last meal in Krabi before heading back to the airport. Their dimsum (the salmon with Thai sauce especially), & chicken rice were so good 🥺
