Immigration Tanya Banyak Soalan? Nak Jawab Apa?

Antara common mistakes among newbie travellers is tak ambk tahu pasal immigration check process. Sibuk sangat pasal nak prepare what to bring and what to experience bila travel tempat orang tapi tak tahu apa benda immigration ni akan tanya.

So, let me share some of the things yang mmg confirmed immigration akan tanya be it locally (Sabah/Sarawak) or internationally:

1️⃣ Bila tarikh balik & dah beli tiket ke belum. Tak cukup sekadar cakap mulut tau, korang kena prepare jugak resit booking or the ticket itself. Kalau travel nak jump countries pun dia akan mintak details jugak.

2️⃣ Since you're travelling in that place and staying a few days, diorang nak tahu your hotel name, stay brape lama, etc. So kena la standby your booking details, some stop at asking, tapi ada jugak yang nak tengok the booking receipts. So be prepared with these details. Kalau stay banyak tempat or hotels, kena la share all the details tu.

3️⃣ How much you earn ni kan, not all will ask, tapi bila dah banyak sangat kes orang travel tapi tak balik negara sendiri, so mmg diorang akan tanya la. So kena prepare to show your bank accounts and segala investment account to make them believe you.

4️⃣ Make sure to check jugak for any vaccination requirements tau. Some countries ada yang mintak, ada jugak yang tak. So do your research tau! Kalau perlu, bawak the certificate okay.

5️⃣ Korang nak buat apa datang negara tu pun ada jugak diorang tanya tau. So korang jawab la either on holiday or work or to watch a concert ke. Kalau dia nak tgk tiket concert, tunjuk je kat dia.

6️⃣ Your OCCUPATION pun ada jugak dia tanya. So korang jawab je la korang kerja apa (kalau student bgtau je). Skrang ni kan byk kes org kerja illegal overseas tak balik, itu yg risau tu.

7️⃣ Kalau korang punya PASSPORT baru buat/baru renew & kosong, it's safer to bring your previous passport. Especially for countries yang mcm 1st world countries, diorang nak tgk korang pernah travel negara lain tak, stay sana brape lama, etc. As I've said before, there's too many illegal travellers nowadays 😭 so the security is tight!

Actually soalan ni semua ada dalam immigration declaration form yang korang kena isi sebelum pergi counter immigration tu tau. Benda basic tapi mmg diorang akan tanya to double check. Kalau korang travel 1 group family/friends, better stay together, jangan berpecah.
