Weekend Day Trip - Newport, RI ✨🌊

One of my favorite quick getaways from Providence is a day trip to Newport, RI! There's so much natural beauty packed into this coastal town. 🏖️

We like to start with a picnic lunch on Easton Beach - the waves here are perfect for surfing so it's fun to watch the surfers while eating by the ocean.

Then we walk over to the famous Cliff Walk for some spectacular ocean views. This 3.5 mile hiking path winds along the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic - it's stunning! The ocean vistas never get old.

To end the day, we head to The Mooring Seafood Kitchen for a waterfront dinner as the sun sets behind the harbor. Their menu focuses on locally sourced seafood - I love their whole lobster and raw bar selections!

With laidback beaches, dramatic cliffs, and oceanside dining, Newport makes for the ultimate weekend escape without having to travel too far. The sea breeze recharges me every time! 🌊 Let me know if you visit. 💖
