3 things no one told me about the first trimester🤰🏻

Current or future mama’s, this one’s for you! First of all, congratulations!!! 💕💕This is SUCH an exciting chapter of our lives so I wanted to document a little about my journey to share with y’all.

Here’s what I learned in my first trimester that no one told me about:

1️⃣ You’ll freak out a lot...

This is completely normal especially if you’re a first time mom, we’re all scared... but definitely do things that will reassure you like learning/reading books, asking all the questions to your OB, and I really liked visiting the miscarriage odds calculator on Datayze, which is a website that reassures you on the miscarriage statistics at each week of your pregnancy.

2️⃣ Flying = bad idea

Kudos to you if you’re able to fly during your first trimester! I definitely underestimated how much motion sickness I would get, this also goes for being in a boat or in a shaky car.

3️⃣ The exhaustion is real

I was getting extremely exhausted at work and what helped was telling my manager about my pregnancy early so that my work knows that I’m not slacking off on purpose.
