i’m obsessed with photobooths! recently when my bf and i had an ikea date, we spotted this anassuming photobooth hidden in the photo frame section at IKEA alexandra! — tucked away against one of the walls behind the shelves of frames, you might miss it if you weren’t looking, or if you took another shortcut out 😗😗

this cute photo booth is probably part of a marketing tactic to sell their frames, but they don’t make u buy the frames — just offer you the prints in the perfect sizes for their photo frames!

💛🍯☁️ The Prints

- they offer 3 sizes of prints for 3 different prices depending on how big the print is

- with the smallest being $0.50 per piece! this print is palm sized so honestly isn’t even that small!! so v v v worth

🦋🫧🌸 The Process

1. start by taking the photos

- the machine will take 4 shots at once, but you can retake the shots if you are unhappy, and keep taking to select up to 10 shots

- since the payment is only at the end, you can just keep retaking till u are satisfied!

2. customisation and decoration

- there are 3 photo filters to choose from: colour, b&w and sepia

- there are a lot LOTS OF STICKERS to add to your photos! of popular ikea things like their meatballs and also their cute stuffed animals

- i had too much fun here, and used every sticker from every category! (so u can also see the small range they offer!!)

3. pay and print!

- after customising, you can choose the size and quantity of your prints

- they accept apple pay!!

- then it takes less than 5 minutes for the machine to print out your photos!!

honestly this was a fun quirky experience that added to our ikea date!! we didn’t even know it was here so it was a fun little unexpected treasure on our ikea date 💗💗

$0.50 is super worth so i’d recommend you try it out if you are in the area or happen to be at ikea doing some shopping 🤭🤭 it’s been here since october? i think and idk how long it will be around for, so go test it out rn!!
