why I ditched dry shampoo 🫶🏼

I found a DIY dry shampoo recipe I LOVE and I’ll never go back to aerosol dry shampoo

Here’s why:

🧼 many dry shampoos contain Benzene, a cancer causing chemical, and other toxic ingredients

🧼 DIY recipe is cost efficient

- AND it’s made with natural ingredients you likely have on hand

🧼 aerosols can dry out and damage hair

-1/4 cup cornstarch

-1 tbsp baking soda

-cocoa powder - adjust amount for your hair color

-few drops of preferred essential oil

(I use Lavender 🧘🏼‍♀️)

TIPS:

I mixed all the ingredients into an old makeup container for loose powder (like a setting powder!) and it works amazing for this!

I use a larger makeup brush for application to my roots
