My Journey as a gray Asexual, Demisexual

I feel it's important to share something about myself: I don't experience sexual attraction in the traditional sense. For me, developing a deep connection with someone's personality, mind, and various qualities is necessary to feel any form of attraction. It's interesting to note that I have had many past partners with whom I spent a significant amount of time, yet we never engaged in sexual activities. We would cuddle and share a bed, but that was the extent of our physical intimacy. Some of them even questioned if something was wrong with me or if I might be gay, but it wasn't a matter of playing hard to get. At times, I wished I could have easily felt aroused by them, but it simply didn't happen. I consulted with my physician and talked to a few people about this, and they suggested I explore different sexualities. After conducting further research, I discovered that I identify as demisexual, and everything started to make sense. So, to all the new individuals attempting to pursue a sexual relationship with me, I encourage you to be patient. There is a distinction between being unable to feel sexual attraction and not wanting to engage in sexual activities with someone right from the start. Please consider this before making assumptions. Some people, including myself, have a lack of interest in sex, and it has nothing to do with you personally. Are there any other demisexual individuals out there?
