stress free JB trip? 🤪🤔

‼️SAVE THIS FOR YOUR NEXT JB TRIP DURING THE FESTIVE PERIOD‼️

staycays in singapore is just too expensive during the holiday period so we decided to take the risk & cross the border 🤪 heres how our mini trip went with timestamps ⏰

✧˖° DAY 1 ✧˖°

⏰ 737am - boarded causeway link bus at Queen Street

⏰ 813am - reached woodlands customs

⏰ 845-1035am - started queuing at JB customs (almost 2 hours omg)

🚨my bf's mum said that the best time to reach JB customs is before 8am!🚨

⏰ 1115am

we wanted to have breakfast at Roast & Coffee / Oriental Kopi but both super long queue 😡 at this point we were FAMISHED so we settled for this place beside Oriental Kopi. ngl i was disappointed the food was meh (as seen in slide 2..) but at least their iced lemon tea was nice 😀

⏰ 12-130pm

we then walked around City Square for abit before taking grab to our hotel to see whether we could check in earlier but did not manage to do so 😔

⏰ 1:45pm

went to Star Family Nails & Eyelashes at KSL mall L2-050 to do our nails tgt hehe 💅🏻💅🏻 The owner was so friendly and welcoming to us, she discussed & calculated the price for us before we went in so we were not scammed when it was time to pay 😋

i paid RM190 ($54.29) for a manipedi so i would say its a pretty good price for chio nails 🤩 + my nail tech was so gentle, she kept checkin on me to make sure i was okay with wtv she was doing which i really appreciated 🥹 as it was my first time. i don't have a clearer pic of her work but i think she did a very goodjob 😍

ALSO pls set aside at least 2hrs if you're doing nails because my poor bf sat there and waited for me for so long 😭🫶🏻

after pampering our nails, we walked around some more & spent a lot of time at Sportdirect (OUR FAV SPORTS STORE NOW)

finally checked in into the hotel & took a fat nap because we woke up so early

⏰ 611pm

decided to head to Midvalley for dinner & look for shoes. we wanted to eat korean bbq palsaik but the queue was so long again.. BUT this time we chanced upon a hidden gem 🫢 & left with happy tummies

⏰ 948pm

went back to wash up and we KO-ed 💤💤💤

✧˖° DAY 2 ✧˖°

⏰ 1106am

checked out!

⏰ 1118am

reached Nimmies pastry cafe and it was beyond my expectations fr.

⏰ 1pm

grabbed to Thai Imperial near KSL mall solely for the tea eggs 🥚 (we saw someone's post on it) we left with a super shiok massage sess, sore bodies but no eggs 😄 they served us tea & desserts after our massage though! service is a 10/10 pls go check them out!!

⏰ 245pm

we decided to google maps our way to Avery Day for drinks before heading for a quick photobooth sess for only RM15 near KSL mall's entrance 🩷 our last stop was Sportdirect HAHA

⏰ 4pm

grabbed back to JB sentral and we reached SG at 530 :)
