1 for 1 mains in this cosy cbd bar🫶🏻

heLLO everyone it's been awhile! today my friends and i went to The Tipsy Tavern , just a short 5 mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT~ here's a lil review🤭

atmosphere ✨

small but cosy little bar with low lighting~ perfect for a date night! it wasn't super crowded too so we could sit there and talk over beer (it's a tuesday night)

food✨

we ordered the Butadon, Garlic Miso Pasta W/ Bay Scallops, and Truffle Fries!

Butadon ($22)

SOOOO yummy... really wonderful and homely burst of flavours in our mouths when we mixed it together! especially with the ikura 🤤 comfort food vibes~ it's a bit on the sweet side though (which i love) so if you like sweet sauces YOU MUST TRY IT.

Garlic Miso Pasta W/ Bay Scallops ($20)

SO CREAMY. THE PASTA N THE SCALLOPS IN ONE BITE!! fantastic. jaw-dropping. ok but for reals the umami taste from the garlic miso paste + furikake + scallops blended really well and was a lovely savoury treat after eating the sweet Butadon!

Truffle Fries ($16)

HONESTLY it smelled and looked so good but i wasn't really a fan... it's great if you like thin and crispy fries but it was a bit dry for me and toooo thin imo but mayb it's just me because i love thicker fries!

overall✨

we used the Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 deal so it was really worth it (counting out the beers) for the three of us! total damage was $71.50 (including $27 for the beers) which is p affordable for the yummy food we ate at this lovely bar in cbd area! would defo go back again to try other things on the menu hehe

they have happy hour from opening-8pm on weekdays, and all day saturday, and they have SUPER YUMMY LOOKING cocktails at $18 instead of their usual $20+
