It’s not unheard of & my first baby sure came close to it, but… your baby could bite off your nipple😳

I’m a mom of 2 under 3 & exclusively breastfeed both of my babies. I LOVE it! But it’s not all rainbows & sunshine.

My second is still breastfeeding & I’m not going to lie… I get so nervous & anxious waiting for the moment she does what her older brother did…

At just 4 months old, that kid bit my nipple & cut half way through😭 I was in so much pain & disbelief. It was one of the most painful experiences.

My nipple looked so gross & bled so much. I seriously felt like it was falling off! & it took over 4 months to completely heal.

Every time I breastfed it would BURN so bad & I could feel his little teeth rubbing against the cut🥲

Nipple cream wasn’t helping at all & I couldn’t put antibiotics on it since my son was always stuck to my nipples.

I looked into nipple shields & it was my holy grail to finally healing. I tried several ones & my son was not digging it (breastfed babies🙄) But right before I was about to give up I found these.

They’re super thin so my son hardly noticed they were there. & I didn’t feel as much pain anymore.
