first ever SOLO TRIP to Penang!! 🇲🇾💃

this is just pt. 1 of the post, dedicated to the main area of georgetown i believe. i think. only ate the laksa (there were like 3 “famous penang laksa” i was like ??????) but the ice kachang looks super dope also!!

overall rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 3/5

for a solo and first time, it’s quite chillllll… i think what’s interesting is that some parts are more ulu, then suddenly beside it there’s a super aesthetic cafe. but generally i felt safe.

if you’re looking for super cool cafes cafes, jb is still better imo!!! but idk!!! maybe i didn’t explore enough. but there are still slay cafes here fosho!!!

went to walk around to find the bicycle mural.. the colourful hanging fans, but didn’t manage to.. idk why LOL. I actually spent like maybe 30 mins walking around but there wasn’t much murals. i think i just walked the wrong way (i saw more murals in my second trip to penang with my friend in may).

i stayed at the area for 2 hours before leaving for the beach. anddd i think that’s enough time 🤝🏻
