Nuna Pipa RX Car Seat Review

When I was pregnant, I did a lot of research on car seats and decided on the Nuna Pipa RX. There were a few features that won me over, however my #1 requirement was safety.

Nuna has one of the safest car seats on the market, and it’s also free of flame retardants, which means the fabric is safe too.

Here are some of my favorite features:

• The harness has cushions by the chin and between the legs. It’s easy to adjust with a pull strap by baby’s legs. It also has little slots to keep the straps to the side when putting baby in and out of the seat.

• The canopy is UPF 50+ and can also be removed if desired. It also has two side panels that can be pulled out to further protect baby.

• The car seat base has 4 positions depending on baby’s weight. The stability leg helps absorb impact should there be a crash. There is also a colored installation indicator that lets you know if the car seat is installed correctly.

• The other great feature is the car seat can be used without the base. There is a slot in the back for the seat belt. This is an awesome feature for traveling or for city living!
