why are you still single?

I'm one of those people who prefer not to engage in casual relationships. The reason is that getting involved too quickly makes me attached, and it feels mentally challenging to connect with someone who might not reciprocate. When dating, I typically don't engage intimately in the first 3-4 dates, waiting until I'm confident the connection is genuine, which may take a year or longer.

I have male friends who pursue casual relationships and then vanish, making me hesitant about such encounters. However, my female friends argue that not being intimate early on is why I'm still single. Yet, I see women who are more open initially facing challenges in finding a lasting partner.
