College Major Advice

I’ve wanted to work in film and television literally since I could talk. I went to an art school for 2 years and studied theatre and loved every aspect of it. I’m also a videographer at a camp and it is the best job I’ve ever had. There are so many pathways to take with that, though!

But, at the beginning of my junior year, I took a criminal justice class and immediately fell in love with it. I’m currently in criminal justice II and I’m still loving it. Even earlier than that, I started volunteering and working with kids and fell in love with that as well. For a while I was a camp counselor but now I'm what we call a "1 on 1 buddy" which means I work with kids who have special needs, emotional difficulties, or just a little extra help. It's the most rewarding volunteer job I could ever imagine having but again, being in the tv and film industry has been my dream since I was a little kid and that spark hasn't left. I really don’t know what to do and could really use some advice!
