country in EUROPE that’s CHEAPER THAN JB?!?

i went to warsaw, poland for my exchange program and i was SHOCKED at how cheap it was! contrary to popular belief, europe can be pretty affordable as long as you go to the right places ✈️✈️✈️

for context, here’s how much i spent on average in warsaw!

accommodation 🏠

$1300 SGD for FOUR MONTHS. (friends in other countries in europe were paying like $7k…)

FOOD 🍲 🥘

a cafe meal can be LESS THAN 10 SGD! restaurants are also super reasonably priced, always less than 20 SGD for QUALITY and GOOD food…i even ate a 4 course meal for 15SGD (read my review here!) 👉🏻

the food is so cheap bc they don’t rly have taxes! not paying for GST and service change rly makes a HUGE diff and it helped me save a lot 💰 💰 for touristy places there were taxes for food but this is quite rare and even after taxes, it was still SUPER CHEAP…was so full after every meal 😋😋😋

TRANSPORT 🚎

because i was a student in warsaw, my transport tickets were 50% OFF! a 20 min train/bus ticket was only 60cents SGD….even if you’re not a student that would mean it’s only $1.2 SGD which is SUPER CHEAP for europe

this is YOUR SIGN to go to warsaw! super underrated city in europe FR i ate like a king there and now i can’t get used to the prices in SG😭😭😭can’t believe warsaw’s food was even cheaper / on par with JB’s prices
