I THINK I NEED TO GO NO CONTACT WITH MY MOM AGAIN

Hello Lemon heads, I need to know if I’m overreacting.

So not too long ago (maybe 5-8 minutes to be exact) I had called my God sister Lexis on FaceTime and was just calling her like we normally do on a day to day basis. She says out of nowhere “Your mom showed my mom pictures of your car.” I’m standing in the mirror looking at myself confused then looking at her on the phone and I say “Huh? How’d she even get the pictures?” and Lexis says “She got them off the internet, but hold on.” So she hangs up the phone, because her boyfriend asked her too (I’m not sure, but I digress on the specific situation).

Anyway, so I call my mom and she’s talking to my step dad about this incident with a dog she had recently and she finally turns her attention to me and I ask her “Did my dad send you pictures of my car?” (my bio dad is the one of speaking of). My mom plays slow (in my opinion, only because I know her and she does this) and says “huh” and I say “Lexis said you talked to her mom about the accident and showed her pictures, but I didn’t send you any.. did my dad send you any? She says “I haven’t talked to Rainmond.” But she never states where she got the pictures from.

Now here’s the thing. She could’ve easily looked up my Lemon8 account because she does also have an account on here (I found that out a week or so ago) and she could’ve taken the pictures off of my account, but my issue is her not being upfront about it and trying to play like she doesn’t know or understand what I’m asking. If you’re new here I do have issues with my mom and I was no contact with her, until I reached out and began speaking with her here and there. No I haven’t asked for help, or money. Just simple advice because not having a mom is like not having your best friend by your side, but this is exactly why I feel like she hasn’t changed. I believe my mom is the same person and I personally don’t want to go through any bs with her. So I just want to know if I should fall back from her because to me this situation is giving major red flags, or maybe I’m trippin and I need to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Also for clearer info if it’s not clear just because I’m trying to specifically talk about the situation at hand. I told my mom about my car being totaled last because we aren’t close anymore and she’s the type to talk behind my back and make comments about me like she has about my God sister and her relationship. I told my dad first and he was the only person that knew, because he’s the only family I speak with day to day.
