You don't. Just accept that your legs will never forgive you hahaha but hey, since we're in this together, let me share some actual tips on how to survive the aftermath of leg day. 💪🏼

1. Hydrate:

I never believed this would help I don’t know why but I was stubborn haha but when I really created the habit of drinking / caring water with me everywhere my recovery is way more tolerable. Water help flush out toxins and reduce muscle soreness.

2. Nutrition:

Fuel your body with a balance of carbohydrates and protein to aid muscle repair and replenish glycogen stores.

3. Stretching:

gentle stretches to improve flexibility and relieve muscle tension. Focus on your quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, and hip flexors.

4. Foam Rolling:

Use a foam roller to massage tight muscles and release knots. Roll slowly over each muscle group, applying gentle pressure.

5. Rest:

Allow your body adequate time to rest and recover. Avoid overtraining by scheduling rest days or focusing on different muscle groups.

6. Active Recovery:

Engage in low-impact activities such as walking, swimming, or cycling to promote blood flow and reduce stiffness.

7. Epsom Salt Bath:

Soak in a warm bath with Epsom salts to ease muscle soreness and promote relaxation.

9. Massage Therapy:

Treat yourself to a professional massage or use a handheld massager to target specific areas of tightness.

10. Listen to Your Body:

Pay attention to your body's signals and adjust your recovery routine accordingly. If you're experiencing prolonged pain or discomfort, consult a healthcare professional.
