I wake up at 6am and im back in bed asleep by 10am ready to wake up at 4pm for my 7p-7a shift in the operating room!
Im awake from 6am-10am before I work after that I sleep the whole rest of the day! From 6a-10a, I make this my ME TIME. I keep it low stimuli. I do a low impact Pilates work out, take a relaxing shower, and complete basically a night routine to wind down.
Waking up for a portion of the morning allows me to have some self care, me time, keep a normal sleep schedule the night before, and just gives me time to relax and have a slow morning. This also gives me a full nights rest PLUS 7 hours of sleep.
I used to stay up all night the night before to allow me to sleep all day before my shift. But that consumed a lot of my time and I wasn’t able to be productive around my apartment or do a work out (because I had to be quiet).
