🚢✨First Time Cruise Tips & Recommendations ✨🚢

1. I went on my first cruise this past year & learn a lot before, during, & I’m still learning after. I want to share with you guys any tips & recommendations that I have used or have learned about. Feel free to leave any recommendations below for others to see. ☺️

2. Research your itinerary & ship~ Download Cruise app~ try to get an early boarding time. Make time to explore the ship on Day 1. Take the time before the sail away to complete any task such as confirming your pre cruise booking have successfully gone through, make any necessary reservations such as kids club ( Highly recommend to complete this things before boarding if you are able to). If possible pay all gratuities before hand but also don’t forget to bring extra cash to tip your room attendant & excursion guides…. Biggest tip do NOT go to the Buffet day one. ✔️

3. Enjoy the towel animals~ Take advantage of the entertainment & included activities on board. But also remember to not force yourself to do everything, remember this is a vacation. (This is something that I struggle with the first days until I decide to step back and fully enjoy the moment.) 🌺

4. Be prepare for Tender ports~ Do research on ports ahead of time. Book an excursion to explore more the ports (even though it may be more costly I recommend booking an excursion with the cruise line to play it safe & not turn into a runner). You don’t have to spend all the time at the port nor book an excursion in every port. Take the advantage of having an empty ship to enjoy in port days as well. 🏝️

5. Packing essentials~ Don’t over pack, bring your own drinks & snack that are allowed on board, & lots of bathing suits. Toiletries (ex. biodegradable sunscreen, first aid, medication, sea sickness pills, personal care, & Clorox wipes.) Lanyard, magnetic hooks, pen or highlighter (to mark any activities son daily planner), large clips for towels, & keep an eye on cruise app for theme nights. 🧳

6. Join a Facebook Group for your specific cruise, participate in gift exchange with other cruisers, participate in the cruise duck hunt ( my favorite ☺️).

7. Finally, Relax & Enjoy your vacation! ❤️
