New Way Of Commuting?

I went for [2XU Compression Run] over the weekend, my first marathon post COVID and I was super excited about it.

As I stay in the wild wild west of Singapore, getting to such event in the early hours will definitely burn a huge hole in my pocket. Thankfully I chanced upon ShareTransport on 2XU’s website and decided to give it a try!

I encountered some account login issues initially and was actually quite ready to just forgo the $12 bus ticket. Luckily I managed to login just the day before the marathon.

On the actual day, the pickup timing was 3.10am and the bus arrived early at about 3.05am. The bus actually stopped slightly before the designated pick up point instead but boarding was quick and smooth. I flashed the boarding code to the driver however he didn’t seem to care 🤣🤣🤣

Every single seat on the bus was taken up and the bus ride was smooth, thanks to the low traffic at such hour.

Bus left at about 3.08am and arrived near F1 Pit Building at about 3.35am, about 10 mins before scheduled.

I think this transport service definitely has its potential and I am quite excited to see what else it has for us commuters in our daily commuting. In fact this concept is very similar to one of the business idea I had, another story for another time. 😭😭

💸 Cost :

$12 for one way bus ride (Pioneer to opp Ritz Carlton)

🥰 Pros :

- Bus arrived early

- Bus ride was smooth

- Prompt arrival at destination

- Not the cheapest bus ride but relatively cheaper than Grab / taxi

👿 Cons :

- Encountered issues with login (system prompted wrong password even when I entered the correct password)

- Bus was quite squeezy as every seat was taken up (school trip kind of ride 🥲)

Overall, this app deserves 🌟🌟🌟!!
