i’m back with another edition of #MyTop3, and this time it’s about my favourite sandwiches in sg! 🥪🇸🇬
📍eggslut
HONESTLY didn’t expect their fried chicken sandwich to be so good, but wow it blew me away 🤯 firstly, the brioche bun was so soft and pillowy, and was complemented with a fried egg and a tangy cabbage slaw to cut through the grease 🍳🥬 the main attraction was the ginormous fried chicken thigh 🍗 that was marinated with soy garlic 🧄 it was super crispy, juicy and heavenly 🤤🤤 its definitely on top of my list!
📍tigress by 82soho
next up, the fried chicken burger from tigress 🐯 similar to eggslut, the 🌟 was definitely the HUGE fried chicken thigh that was fried to perfection 🤤 there were more complementary ingredients such as mushrooms and kimchi, which gave it a korean touch. the gochujang sauce also provided a bit of heat, enhancing the flavour 🌶️🥵 a must-try as well!
📍lil’s taproom
i featured their classic beef burger in my Battle of the Burgers post, but their pulled pork burger deserves another mention 🐷😎 the pulled pork was super tender, juicy, and flavourful 👍🏻 the tangy cabbage slaw was a good addition and contrast to the savoury meat 🥬 even tho its the smallest sandwich out of the 3, its still a force to be dealt with 🤯
overall, all 3 sandwiches have a special place in my heart ❤️ hope yall try them out too! let me know where i can find other good sandwiches/burgers 😆
