Obviously, there are other helpful questions to ask yourself before deciding to purchase an item, but this should literally be number 1! Doing this will help ensure that you eventually have a closet filled only with clothes that genuinely make you feel good and excited!

Bonus tip: when you try something on and it makes you feel like a million bucks, think of one item currently in your closet that DOESN’T make you feel that way, and decide to donate that item. Maybe it will make someone else feel great!
