#embracevulnerability #unfiltered #Lemon8Diary #college #studywithme Honestly college is hard but it can be overwhelming for girls who were late diagnosed neurodivergent, feel like they definitely might be- but don’t have access to resources, or just struggle with motivation🫠 So far I’ve found these tips are the most useful now that I’m a year into my program (online only).

1. Break down your study sessions into short, manageable chunks. Set a timer for 20-30 minutes and focus on studying for that amount of time before taking a short break.

2. Use color coding or visual aids to help organize your notes and make studying more engaging.

3. Find a quiet and comfortable study space where you can focus without distractions. BACKGROUND WHITE NOISE OR CLASSICAL/INSTRUMENTALS ONLY NO PODCASTS OR TV. This is so so important.

4. Use mnemonic devices or create a study playlist to help you retain information more effectively. I love songs I made a fun one to remember the order from north to south of Central American countries.

5. Reward yourself with a small treat or break after completing a study session to stay motivated. I love chocolate treats personally.

6. Don't be afraid to ask for help or seek out additional resources if you're struggling with a particular subject. I take breaks from my notes in my textbook to watch YouTube videos to summarize a topic.

7. Stay positive and remind yourself of your strengths and accomplishments as you work towards your academic goals.

8. This really only applies to online students- find ways to get involved with your major before internship time especially with a hands on field. I’m pursuing an earth science believe it or not so a lot of my free time consists of looking for and getting involved with local volunteer and educational opportunities to begin networking now.
