How to effectively budget a bi-weekly paycheck.

- make a list of all your bills. And see what ones like subscriptions you could cancel.

-create a calendar with all the bills and what you owe and when in the color red. Put what your income is and when you get paid in green.

-set aside money for a rainy day. Basically when something unplanned like a flat tire, a doctors bill, an AC repair etc. you know life is going to happen and you need to be prepared. Can find the money to put into savings then it’s time to start taking away from fast food, getting coffee out or drinks from the gas station, limit subscriptions and alcohol/tonacco use and put that extra money in the savings.

- list the spending categories and list every single time you purchase something and what you spent. Sometimes we don’t realize how much things add up. Then after a month you find you’re spending $250 in Red Bulls from the gas station. When there are cheaper alternatives to that.

- write a bi-weekly budget. Then STICK TO IT. The hardest part it SELF CONTROL. you’ll have to learn to live below your means. but the sacrifices now will pay off later.
