AWAS! Yang Nak Kahwin Tu, Be Prepared!

Hi sweetlings!

Before I kahwin dulu, my wise aunt ada cakap satu ayat ni I quote, “Marriage is when 2 strangers that came from 2 different backgrounds, different upbringings, different sets of common sense, AGREED to spend the rest of their lives together, UNDER THE SAME ROOF!” Haa so, pepandai kau la nak hadap those differences together.

Kalau Mat Salleh kahwin, jarang-jarang dah dorg visit mak ayah dorang. Kalau yang tak dapat restu tu lagi lah. Normal je bagi dorang.

Tapi adat kita orang Melayu & Islam ni, bila kita kahwin, kita kahwin dengan family dia sekali. So memang kena compromise jugak dengan both families. Jaga hati both sides. Part tu yang lagi complicated. And memang boleh sampai culture shock! Korang boleh relate tak? Kalau korang pun pernah culture shock lepas kahwin, cer citer apa perbezaan culture tu kat comment! So kita boleh bagi awareness lagi kat adik-adik lain. 🤭
