GF Groceries and Meal Ideas

This is my grocery haul for last week and what meals I made. Important FYI: I have a shared kitchen so not all items are GF. If you think items (or food groups) are missing from the pictures? Thats because I already had them. Duplicate items in pictures are being used for both meals. I went to Aldi and Kroger. (Next week I’ll try to remember to take a picture of the recipes so you can have price too.) When I plan my meals and grocery shop I follow these tips:

1. I shop my pantry/fridge first. What needs to be used?

2. I compare stores and brands for pricing. If I want a better quality item, I take that into account with price (For example, Grass fed beef)

3. I proactively buy when there’s a deal. For example, the BBQ sauce was $0.99 each. I didn’t need them for my meals this week, but I bought them anyway.

We love tacos and breakfast in the house. I pre-make waffles for the freezer! The pasta salads here were our lunches for the week. The dinners were all delicious this week and most of the snacks are Nick’s. He loved the pre-measured snacks from Aldi!
