i just came back from China and i must say that booking from 12306 was fairly simple and a breeze. nothing held us up at all !! the instructions like the time, ticketing entrance, carriage, seats were VERY CLEAR. ** i understand you can book from trip.com but i heard that its more expensive that way so why not try their local way!

2. Register yourself (if your page appears blank after downloading, change the language to chinese)

3. Verify yourself

4. Verify any passengers along w you (e.g your child, your family, your friends)

5. Start booking!
