WHAT'S IN MY REHEARSAL BAG

Today, I have a 10 hour rehearsal for Sister Act. In honor of that, I’m sharing what I am packing in my bag!

Note: We perform in an outdoor theater and this is the first time we will be in costume, it’s expected to be 91° today!

1. Undergarments:

Aside from the usual, I’m bringing a tank top, shorts, and a fresh pack of tights for my costume

2. Snack Bag:

A 10 hour rehearsal requires sustenance! I try to pack healthy snacks to keep me going so I included veggie sticks, a banana, fruit snacks, a nut/chocolate kind bar, and crackers.

3. Toiletries:

We don’t need to bring make up *yet* so I’m bringing what I think I’ll need to keep fresh and bypass the sweat! A battery operated fan, deodorant spray, hand sanitizer, chapstick, body spray, and a little towel to blot the sweat off my face. Any other suggestions, please let me know!

Not pictured:

-black shoes

-white Gogo boots

-assorted costume pieces

-script

-3 bottles of water (there are no water fountains at the theater)

-reusable water bottle (Owala)

To help with the efficiency of today, I tried to prepare myself by doing the following:

-eat a big, nutritious breakfast designed to give me energy

-precook my turkey burger so I can throw it into my air fryer when I get home for dinner break

-put the water bottles in the freezer

-have my ice maker running so I can pack ice in a bag for my water bottle
