Keep your placenta!

With my first born, I had really bad postpartum depression & postpartum anxiety! I also suffered from postpartum hair loss. I wanted to keep my placenta with her but I was a first time mom and didn’t really know how to stand up for myself. The nurse was also uneducated and told me I couldn’t, which wasn’t true.

With baby number 2 I was far more educated and prepared! I talked to my doctor about my previous experience and he told me that was wrong, and that it was my placenta, I can do what I want with it!When I went to the hospital and told them I was keeping my placenta they didn’t question me at all. I purchased a kit from mommy made placenta encapsulation & shipped it off to them to make pills out of it!
