1. i don’t track my calories

it’s so difficult and stressful, as someone who has an ed, it’s hard to micro manage my habits because it just makes me self conscious. instead i track my calories when i first started then practice intuitive eating. ex: i know i eat a bagel and yogurt w/ berries every morning which is around 400 cals so i don’t need to log it. i only snack on fruits and veggies so i know i won’t go over 110 calories. it takes practice but it’s so much better. also make better food choices like only eating half a burger with a salad rather than a whole burger and fries or choosing baked chicken rather than fried.

2. using the stair master daily

me and the stair master have become BESTIES. after every workout i use the stair master for 15-20 mins and on cardio day 30-1hr. it makes sure my muscles are growing and the weight just falls off. i also feel so accomplished afterwards.

3. only drinking water

this is pretty self explanatory, i only drink water. i never drink my calories because it just makes it harder to stay in a calorie deficit. NO soda, NO juice, NO coffee, NO smoothies ect. in the rare occasion i like to drink dr pepper with my meal, it’s always diet. this wasn’t hard to cut out because i hate the taste and feeling of sugary drinks.

4. buy cute gym clothes

although i am a proud hater of overconsumption, i do like to splurge on gym fits that make me feel confident. it encourages me to want to work out more!

5. greens/fruits with every meal

my meal should never just be one or two colors, there needs to be red, green, blue ect incorporated into it. sad beige plates are sooo boring and unhealthy. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, YOU DONT NEED TO “DRINK YOUR GREENS”, JUST GET THE BROCCOLI, KALE, SPINACH ECT. (unless you are disabled) I HATE BLOOM.
