How I lost 50 lbs. and gained self love

I just came back from vacation and cannot begin to describe just how amazing I felt. I was able to wear the cutest outfits and best of all feel great while doing so.

I have been skinnier in the past. I have had less stretch marks and cellulites than now and I have been way more toned. But for the first time in my life, I am able to see myself in a way I had not before.

I thank my body for what it has endured. For the many times I called it ugly or fat, making it feel not enough for who it was.

I was perfect before my 60 lb weight gain

And I didn’t see it. I didn’t feel beautiful. I was also perfect with my 60 lb weight gain but I didn’t feel happy and happiness it’s important for self love.

It took for me to lose myself and fight to find myself for me to realize just how truly magical my body was and is.

To younger me, I’m sorry for not seeing you.

To fatter me, I’m sorry for hiding you.

To now me, thank you for enduring.

To my mental health, you’re a champ babe.
