Elementary Teacher’s CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT!!💖💖

Okay let’s talk classroom management! Here are some things I use in my classroom that work well!!💓

✨VIP: I choose a VIP each day based on their behavior the day before. The VIP gets to use the bouncy ball for the day, gets recognized for their behavior with our sign and a lanyard, gets a piece of candy, and gets to go early to lunch and recess!

✨ punch cards: each student has a punch card and they get punches for positive behavior. Once they fill their card, they can choose from a variety of reward options! I usually allow students to cash in their punch cards on Fridays.

✨KISS YOUR BRAIN 🧠💋: I love this and my kids do too!! It really motivates my students to ask great academic questions and share their thoughts and ideas! Whenever I love what they say, I will say “kiss your brain!” and they will get a Hershey kiss!

✨table wars: table groups get points for positive behavior! Winners announced on Fridays!

✨transition tic tac toe: great way to have smooth transitions! If students transition as I ask, they get to put an O, if not, I put an X! They can win a class reward if they win.

✨hand signals help eliminate distractions!

✨kids love happy mail💖

✨doorbell helps get students attention and they know to freeze and look when they hear this sound!

✨a LINE up chant!!! I highly recommend! This reminds students of the hallway expectations!

✨LINE DOTS: these are a life saver! Create a line order and assign your students a number. It will make your life easier 💓💓
