HOW TO FIND CHEAP FLIGHTS

✈️ IF YOU KNOW WHERE AND WHEN YOU WANT TO GO

- Download the Expedia app

- Search your dates and location

- Apply filters as needed (i.e. nonstop only, morning arrival, specific airline, etc.)

- Toggle the flight tracker

- Make sure your notifications are turned on

✈️ IF YOU KNOW WHERE YOU WANT TO GO BUT HAVE FLEXIBLE DATES

- Open an incognito browser

- Navigate to Google Flights

- Search your location with random dates

- Apply filters as needed (i.e. nonstop only, morning arrival, specific airline, etc.)

- Go back to the dates and reset them

- Look for cheap dates on the calendar

✈️ IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE YOU WANT TO GO AND JUST NEED A VACATION

- Download the Skyscanner app

- Select Explore

- Add your local airport for the departure destination

- Do not select an arrival destination

- Select dates or general months if you want

- Start scrolling to discover where you could travel

- You do not book your flights with this app. It is just a good resource to discover options.

✈️ In general, flight prices tend to drop on Tuesdays. I am not sure why, but this rumor seems to be true from what I have seen in my searches and tracking!

✈️ Get a good travel credit card (I have a separate post on this)! My favorite way to use points is to book flights!
