i've been living in my home for 2 years now & one of my biggest reno regrets was installing blinds in almost every room 😩

the biggest reason is that they are a HASSLE TO CLEAN like when i got it, the salesperson told me "it's so easy to clean!! you just close it and use a feather duster to go over it!!" LIES 😩😩😩

i tried that and it just doesnt do the trick, i really have to go in with a cloth and clean every single panel individually so just imagine the time it takes to clean ALL the blinds in my house 🤧

BUT will i install it again if i shift?

unfortunately, yes. but maybe just in the living room and curtains for the rest!

i love the vibes it gives, obviously!! it makes the place feels so cosy and nice. but more importantly, it allows ventilation while still providing shade from the sun -- unlike curtains that shade you but may block the wind from coming in.

so yes, it is a huge regret because of the cleaning hassle but i do love my blinds 🥹
