San Francisco can be pricey, but if you plan it right, you can explore this city without spending too much. Here's how I did it.
Transportation:
The best way to get around is on foot. Most of the city's attractions are pretty close to each other. When you need to go a bit further, you can use the MUNI System. It's just 💸 Price Range:$2.50 per ride for adults, and if you’re traveling with kids, it’s free for them up to 18 years old.
Accommodation:
I found a dorm room near the center for just 💸 Price Range:$150 for five nights. If you want more privacy, a private room is around 💸 Price Range:$210. Both options keep you close to the action without draining your wallet.
Food:
I kept my food costs low by spending about 💸 Price Range:$35 a day on three meals. I’d grab snacks and takeaways from supermarkets, which was great for sticking to the budget.
Attractions:
San Francisco has tons of free things to do. Pier 39 is a must-see, and the Palace of Fine Arts is stunning. Golden Gate Park is perfect for a relaxing day, and you won't have to spend anything to enjoy it all.
