Free things to do at Animal Kingdom Lodge

Did you know that when you stay at Deluxe Disney Resorts it comes with so many incredible & FREE activities?

A few things we’ve done at the resort that are completely free and INCLUDED in your stay:

1. Pumba / Timon scavenger hunt - when you find the photo prop you snap a picture & bring it to the kids clubhouse / activity center to get a button & stickers for the 4x you find them! Bonus: you can do it both at Kidani Village (DVC section) and Jambo House

2. The activity center has free coloring, board games, books, and other activities for your kids to do! We loved the coloring pages and toys for our toddler!

3. The main pool has trivia and games daily at all resorts! It’s so much fun and keeps the kids pretty well entertained when they want to participate.

4. AKL has something called the string of life so all day every day there are different learning sessions whether it’s about the animals in the Savannah or just cultural things like music and instruments. Each learning session you go to and participate in gives you a really beautifully designed bead to complete a bracelet! My son wasn’t interested, but of course I was!

5. We had Daisy and Chip visit our resort this time and it was MAGICAL! They took my kiddo by the hand and walked around with him making him feel so special for a few minutes!
