This app saved me!

I have had such a horrible addiction to my phone to the point it has literally hindered my productivity, mental well-being, and my daily life. I have deleted both snapchat and insta because i will just aimlessly scroll. I literally don’t even need a reason, I will just scroll. It’s terrible. I end up feeling sick and depressed and get nothing done.

However, for the apps I like to enjoy once in a while, or need for something, I use Opal. I will still block everything for 24 hours to keep myself completely off and prevent me from aimlessly scrolling, but I will use to snooze feature to check out facebook marketplace, get inspo from pinterest, or check out lemon8 postings, so that I am only using the apps intentionally.

Opal has helped increase my productivity, mindfulness, and intentionality, but it is still a work in progress!
