it's really easy to fall into a dark mindset and feel like everything in your life is crumbling, so it's important to remember these 3 things:

1. whatever your ex did or didn't do is not personal. their actions are a reflection of them and who they are, not of you.

2. you should want to feel at peace more than you want to get even. I'm tired of hearing "i just want them to regret it, i want them to feel bad." that won't ever make you feel better.

3. if it didn't work out for you, it wasn't meant for you. period
