my absolute non-negotiables when it comes to keeping a healthy gut:
1. no coffee/caffiene first thing in the morning! I always make sure to wait at least 90 minutes after waking up, ensure i’m hydrated, and eat a meal prior to having my morning coffee
2. proper supplementation can vary from person to person, but a few of my staples include a good
probiotic, glutamine, and digestive enzymes for larger meals
3. i make sure to limit my caffeine intake to the recommended 400mg a day to ensure my cortisol levels aren’t high
4. i always prioritize whole foods, while allowing myself a “cheat” or “free” meal throughout the week. it’s what works best for me!
