ipad setup + favorite apps as a college student!

i got an ipad last year as a gift and it has been so helpful with school! i use it everyday so i thought id like to showcase my setup and my favorite apps

⭐️ i have 3 different home screens (focus modes), one for studying, one for when im just at home, and one for self care time

⭐️ one if my favorite apps is forest, you can set timers for yourself to stay focused, as the time progresses your tree will grow, and once your timer is finished you will have a tree planted in a plot in your ipad, you can plant multiple trees in a day and over time, create a forest! the only downside of this app is it does cost money

⭐️ i love goodnotes, i have used it as my main way of taking notes since i got my ipad, ive tried other apps but goodnotes worked the best for me, i can create folders to stay organized and use multiple different tools for taking notes, one of my favorites being an in app recorder which when played back will show you what you wrote down in time with the recording, so if you missed anything you can go back and edit!

⭐️ i started using google calendars this semester and it is a game changer! having everything all in one spot helps a lot when it comes to planning assignments or even day to day tasks, it is extremely user friendly as well!

⭐️ lastly, chatgpt and no i do not use chatgpt to cheat on essays lol, it is a great tool when it comes to planning, as well as school work, one of my main uses is asking a question form my homework to get a better explanation to help me understand the topic, one of my other favorite uses is to summarize long readings!
