And these books absolutely SCREAM fall!! I’m a biggggg mood reader, and i want autumn-coded novels ONLY from now until thanksgiving. Give me dark academia, give me cozy fantasy, give me mysteries and thrillers, give me alllllll the fall vibes pls.

If you want cozy fantasy, check out The Hexologists and A River Enchanted + A Fire Endless! The Hexologists is more mystery-forward, while A River Enchanted is romance. For my dark academia girlies: The Secret History and Ninth House! How I’ve gone so long without reading either of these needs to be studied because they are staples in this genre.

And…what’s this?? A NONFICTION BOOK?? Yes!! The Devil in the White City tells the story of H. H. Holmes, one of America’s first serial killers. Every review I’ve seen says it reads like a work of fiction rather than a straightforward biography, so that’s exciting!
