Charming places in Pennsylvania to visit

Next time you’re looking to do a trip around the Pocono Mountains or Pennsylvania, check out the charming town of Jim Thorpe, known as the ‘Switzerland of America’

Famous for its outdoor adventures! One of our favorite things we did was ride the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway: Trademark of the Reading & Northern Railroad where you can see the stunning views from the viewing cars on the train! Tickets $24-32

The town is full of beautiful architecture too likeThe Harry Packer Mansion Inn which is said to be the inspiration for the Haunted Mansion at Disney.

It’s currently an Inn you can stay in for around $250-300 a night unless you come during the Murder Mystery Event where rooms go for $900 and you need to book well in advance!

There’s a Harry Potter themed cafe too that plays the movies! Go to Muggles mug for coffee and to catch some of the HP movies along themed drinks and food items!
