Hey loves! Thought I’d do a quick one on what to wear and pack for Rinjani! 🤍

Firstly, the sun was NOT forgiving on hike day so remember to bring sunscreen along! I’d recommend the spray ones as your hands get dirty and dusty hiking up so the tub kinds are definitely troublesome for when you need to reapply. (Which you definitely MUST ‼️)

WHAT I WORE —

Hike to Crater Rim:

1. Top: Long sleeve that’s UV protected.

- To prevent sunburns on your arms!

2. Pants: Hiking pants/tights.

- To ensure that your legs are covered thus not get dirty and dusty or bruises if you ever fall. It’s also to prevent sunburnt. Because my calves were burnt and peeling post hike. (I wore shorts)🥲

3. Head/Neck gaiters.

- It serves as a multifunction item. Can use it as a head scarf or a face mask which is recommended as the trails get dusty esp Pos 3-campsite & summit push!

Hat, proper hiking shoes/boots with good grips and a pair of shades!

To sleep (2-3.C) & Summit Push:

Top: Uniqlo ultra warm heat tech, down jacket* & windbreaker

Bottom: Uniqlo ultra warm heat tech, long hiking pants, Uniqlo heat tech socks.

Head: Beanie

*I brought along my down jacket to summit push but only wore my windbreaker.

3. Others — Snacks (Energy Bars, 100 plus powder sachet, sweets), Lip balm!!!!, portable charger x2, muscle ache cream, plasters.

4. Equipments — Headlamp, hiking pole, heat pack/hand warmer.
