hi Lemonies🍋
Detailed travel yapping from a previous trip to DaNang, Vietnam🇻🇳
Engaged with a Vietnamese travel agency (comm if you want me to share the deets) for a hassle free vacation as it was a girls' trip✌🏼
Guide: 𝗠𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁, very knowledgeable and dedicated to the role 👍🏼
𝓓𝓪𝔂 1:
We had a driver receiving us at the airport.
Hotel stay: 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 (4⭐️) Very decent stay with beachfront view😍
● Da Nang beach - just a road cross away from the hotel. It was quite hot on the day 1 evening. We went again on the 3rd night for chilling in the water. Has some night music vibes on the beach at night where you can sit down and order drinks & food.
● Son Tra Night Market - the nearest night market we had and we went there 3 days! Great shopping spree for souvenirs, snacks, and clothes!
𝓓𝓪𝔂 2:
● Marble mountain
● Huyen Khong cave, Tam Thai & Linh Ung pagodas
● Hoi An City - about 40 mins ride away from Da Nang
• Coconut Forest Basket boat ride (pay extra 50,000 vnd/pax for the crazy spinning🤪)
• Hoi An city tour - colourful lanterns river ride, bustling market area by night, such a pretty sight! 😍
• Very affordable massage (had foot massage for 2 pax, 1 hour at $10 only)
𝓓𝓪𝔂 3:
● Bana Hills - when the rest of the trip was hot and sunny, this was a perfect, misty, cool mountain environment. To reach there, you'll take a scenic cable car route. This is similar to the Resorts World Sentosa. Bring an umbrella🌂& jacket as it might rain. Our tickets were inclusive of the 1 hour All You Can eat Halal buffet👍🏼
• Golden Bridge (the one with two hands)
• Flower Garden
• Wine Cellar
• Wax museum
• Sun World Fantasy Park (pay extra 70,000 vnd for the alpine coaster)
● Dragon Bridge show (weekends only @9pm)- just a fire and water show out of the dragon's mouth. It was so crowded even with locals. Quite underwhelming in my pov.
𝓓𝓪𝔂 4: Since our flight was at noon, we didn't do much. HaDa Nang d breakfast at the hotel, packed and left.
Things to take note:
● Vietnam has tipping culture, so do keep in mind and spare around $3-5 if you're satisfied with the service.
● What to Buy: The land is famous for their authentic coffees, cashewnuts & coconut snacks! They have a variety of coffees such as egg coffee, coconut coffee, etc. Get customised outfits tailored within hours at Hoi An city.
● People are nice and felt quite safe. A city still with culture and not exploited by tourists and westernisation.
● Local food to try: Banh mi & Pho🍜🥙
